- Sharing Drive Files as an Attachment. After the start of the new year Google will launch the option to add a Drive file either as an attachment or as a link.
- Conversion Support for Additional Office Formats. Google has added fifteen new convertable file extensions for its produtivity suite, giving users the ability to turn MS Office dot, dotx, dotm*, docm*, xlt, xltx, xltm*, xlsm*, pot, potx, potm*, pptm*, pps, ppsx, and ppsm* files to Google Docs, Google Sheets, or Google Slides. *macros will be removed upon conversion.
