Students Involved with Technology Conference

SIT Conference @ Stevenson High School

On February 23, 2013 the Bloomington-Normal Education Alliance, along with State Farm, and the Illinois State Board of Education will present its annual Students Involved with Technology (SIT) conference at Stevenson High School.

For the past few years several of the District’s Tech Leaders, who work intimately with the AAL program, have presented workshops. In the past, Tech Leader topics have included:
  • Applications for the Modern Student - Tech Leaders share their favorite/essential Web 2.0 and smartphone applications;
  • Make Yourself Known - ways to safely promote your talents online;
  • Web 2.0 and the Cloud - DropBox and other cloud-based file storage services that can be accessed anywhere/anytime.

Tech Leaders are currently fleshing out their presentation ideas for this year's conference. It is expected that ten Tech Leaders will attend, working in teams to present multiple topics.
