D219 is planning a tech conference at Niles North for April 9, 2011. The conference will feature a keynote from David Warlick, an accomplished international educational technology consultant and blogger. His presentation, “Literacy and Learning in the 21st Century” promises to be enlightening and thought-provoking and will describe how our notions of literacy must expand to harness a rapidly changing information landscape where content and knowledge are increasingly networked, digital, and sometimes overwhelming.
The conference allows us a time to share with our colleagues what we have learned in the first year of the AAL roll-out. No matter what new tools you have learned about and/or incorporated in your classrooms, we can all benefit from your experiences.
Please consider presenting during one of the concurrent sessions throughout the day. Follow this link, http://url.d219.org/techconcallforpresenters, to the short form.
Thanks in advance for making this a memorable day for all involved.
